Volunteer Requirements

  • Maryville Little League is a non-profit and can not function without plenty of help from lots of people. We always welcome volunteers for the many services that need to be performed during the year such as Managers (Head Coach), Coaches, Team Parents, Umpires, and Scorekeepers. 

  • To participate in any of these Volunteer positions, please complete the following...
  • Follow the "create an account" link in the top right of our homepage, select your volunteer position and follow the prompts to register. Your child will be placed on your team, and someone will contact you in mid-February. 
  • In order to provide a safe place for our children to play, we require Background Checks for all volunteers who help with practice and/or games. During the registration, you will be asked for your drivers license and social security number. This information is required in order for us to complete the background check.
  • Submit your payment of $5 for your annual Member Dues. This helps cover the cost of our background checks.
  • Complete The State of Tennessee Concussion Training: CDC Concussion Training
  • Complete The State of Tennessee Cardiac Training:  Sudden Cardiac Training

  • All Coaches will be required to complete the Little League Diamond Leader Course: Diamond Leadership Course

  •  Both Certificates Must be Turned Into Your Division Commissioner prior to the start of the season.
